This was Carol's favorite beer.
She always drinks it out of the can. I should have known.
(happening in a way that is sudden and unexpected)
例:
In the middle of class, Petar started to sing out of the blue.
out of their mind
「you are out of your mind」というフレーズが、侮辱としてのスラングに使われます。
例:
You are completely out of your mind.
He got drunk out of his mind.
I am bored out of my mind!!
Oh my God!
I know, I know, I'm such an idiot. I guess I should have caught on when she started going to the dentist four and five times a week. I mean, how clean can teeth get?
